Thomas Berthuel-Bonnes has been committed to painting for the past 12 years. He graduated from the Bayard Drawing Academy in Toulouse, and the ETPA Toulouse Photography School, was involved as a “Copywriter” in Advertising at « Publicis Paris », and also produced a short film, presented at the “Court devant” festival in Paris in 2009.
The return to his roots on Bayard Street, Toulouse, was a revelation, a real commitment punctuated by temporary work and the inspirations inherent to the daily work. (tools, supports, pizza boxes, cleaning squeegee, stones from the south Toulouse quarries, etc.
His exhibitions took place in cultural centers, MJC, then galleries, in Toulouse, Paris, London, and now San Diego, CA.
But above all, the paintings evolved from the reproduction of the first French stamp (Ceres 1948) to the work of the motif, and then through a work of colorist to the color BLUE.
His work was built, over many years of research which led him to a major European media network, which presents Thomas Berthuel-Bonnes work as a selection of Konbini as a top emerging artist.
